The emblematic Hotel du Palais Biarritz reopened its doors on June 3, 2022 after 4 years of renovation: unique Palace on the Atlantic Coast (Southwestern France), the historical Napoleon III's residence would be honored to host your events in its spectacular decor.
Located on the French-Spanish border, at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, our magnificent Basque city abounds in cultural, gastronomic and historical treasures.
Our splendid property offers 86 rooms and 56 suites with elegant decor, mixing the charm of the old with the modern.
For its rebirth, the Hôtel du Palais provides 4 restaurants: 2 located in the incredible Rotonde overlooking the ocean (qualified by the famous Chef Alain Ducasse as "the most beautiful dining room in the world" during his wedding here), one of them having 1 star in the Michelin Guide, the other one offering a bistronomic cuisine that can also be served on the sublime outdoor Terrace, also facing the Ocean.
The Salon offers cuisine all day long in a cosy and elegant space.
2 new items have been added to the menu for this reopening: the Bar Napoleon III and its cozy British atmosphere & the Sunset restaurant and its light menu to be enjoyed by the pool.
The overlooking-the-ocean magnificent outside Californian pool is seasalted and heated for the season; you can combine it with the exceptional treatments of our Imperial Spa (Guerlain and Leonor Greyl).
For events, we offer the mythical Salon Impérial, which has hosted balls of the world's most famous people under its majestic glass roof, as well as 5 other rooms, completely renovated, with natural light, some of which offer exclusive access to the Terrace, facing the ocean.
The Hôtel du Palais is the only hotel in Biarritz that offers our clients the possibility to privatize the entire property for their events: a guarantee of comfort and exclusivity for memorable events.
The Biarritz area is without a doubt one of the finest destinations in France and the region offers a wide spectrum of sports activities: four-wheels drive outings in the Pyrenees mountains following the smugglers tracks, rafting, 10 golf courses, surf, deep-sea fishing and Basque pelote.
For cultural activities our region offers a rich living history: authentic villages, numerous museums, original Basque traditions and above all a fabulous culinary heritage.
